Keita Kawasaki’s Work to Be Exhibited at Sant Pau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Barcelona

Since 1993, the World Peace Art Exhibition (Kokusai Heiwa Bijutsuten) has been held in cities around the world under the theme of “seeking peace through art.”
For its 34th edition, following the domestic exhibition at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa in June, the exhibition moves to Barcelona, Spain, this September for its international showing.
RINKA, from flower artist Keita Kawasaki’s HANA GRAPHIC ART series, will be on display.

The venue, the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, is a masterpiece of Modernisme architecture designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, who believed that art has the power to heal. It was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.
The year 2026 also marks the centenary of Antoni Gaudí’s death, and with the eyes of the world on Barcelona, RINKA will be shown alongside works by some 300 artists.
Barcelona is a long way from Japan, but we are delighted that Keita Kawasaki’s RINKA will be seen by the people of the city.
